Dance Surge Experience: Day one will focus on leadership, planning and preparation with our experienced mentors, who are former dance directors. Choreography class developing a combination are essential components of the day as well. Directors will attend workshops with Mary Lou Johnson and interact with mentors as well. The night is topped off with technique classes.
On day two, we dive into what it means to be an officer; developing, teaching and polishing skills. Social officers will concentrate on new and innovative activities. The term "officership" is dissected in order to acquire each officer's strengths . It's about relationships building between director and officers as well. Officers will work with high qualified dance educators who are talented and inspiring while learning football routines.
Our Staff will work alongside your Team to assess, guide, and create a working environment between director, officer, socials, and team. Officers are now given the opportunity to apply all they have learned by working with their team. The goal is to promote a healthy work concept between team and officers , while learning routines and building on technique. Together, the team is ready to start a new year! Each team's "Day" experience is designed with an a la carte menu of "leadership" "technical development" and "team building " designed by both the staff of DS and you, their director . This is combined with fun dance routines for field and pep rallies.
